Life has been super busy with little Noah around!
(Too many pics of him on FB so I'm not posting any of him here.. at least not yet.) ;-)
But we are slowly resuming school and gearing up for the last few months of Kindy for Emilie.
Emilie's reading has taken off and she is going through level 1 readers on her own
with some help from mom. I'm so proud of her. We're slowly making our way through all 70 phonograms, which we will complete by the end of 1st grade.
We're halfway done with her Singapore Math B and our goal is to get it done by May.
She's still in gym class every week
and our homeschooling co-op has started up again every Monday.
Still, we can't wait for warmer weather to get outside!!
It is just too cold and rainy and yucky these days.
So I leave you with a fun buggy project we made today:
I got the idea from here.
The accompanying Insect song goes
(to the tune of Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes):
"Head, thorax abdomen, abdomen.
Head, thorax abdomen, abdomen.
Eyes, six legs, antennae, and wings!
Head, thorax, abdomen, abdomen!"
We'll finish the labeling (of body parts) tomorrow.
Adios!
